What does it mean if I void an ePAF?

Category:  ePAF

Question:  What does it mean if I void an ePAF?

Answer:  Voiding an ePAF retains it for future reference.  It will remain in your Originator Summary.

When you start an ePAF, there are two buttons:  Void and Delete.

The Delete button will remove a transaction and no record of the ePAF remains.  Delete is available until the ePAF has been submitted.

The Void button is for an ePAF that has been submitted and returned as incorrect.  If it cannot be fixed, the transaction still must be retained as an auditable document and cannot be deleted. The Void button retains the transaction in history for future reference.
