What is Xtender?

Xtender is a Document Management System that is used across campus to secure documents over long periods of time, while allowing for emailing and printing from the system as well as retrieving documents from the system.  Permission is required to use Xtender and is granted by assigning  user roles within the Xtender application. Access is requested by the Organization Financial Manager through a JIRA request.

FERPA Training is required prior to gaining access to Student folders housed within Xtender.

Not all University personnel require access to Xtender.  AFISM offers an online training module for the Browse User role and an Instructor led course for other user roles.  You can register for these through SumTotal or the AFISM Training Website.
